Welcome to my blog about the OpenVOS operating system, which is the fault-tolerant operating system for the Stratus Technologies line of VOS and OpenVOS servers.

I helped to create the VOS (now known as OpenVOS) operating system and supported it for many years as an employee of Stratus Technologies. I retired from full-time work in 2017.

In this blog, I’ll write about aspects of the OpenVOS operating system that you may not be familiar with, including new features that Stratus has recently added.
